The Slimaluma is a standardized, clinically tested extract of Caralluma fim-briata, an edible plant used for centuries in India as an appetite suppressant. The Caralluma fimbriata considered to inhibit the activity of several enzymes and thereby subsequently prevent the formation of fat, forcing the body to use existing stocks of fat for energy production. It is also considered to have a significant effect on the brain appetite control mechanism. The NOW Slimaluma Plus also contains green tea extracts and yerba mate with strong synergistic effect in the control of appetite and weight loss.

Green tea is particularly rich in a type of polyphenols, catechins. These substances are true anti-inflammatory and anticancer properties, but recent research indicates that catechins can reduce the accumulation of body fat and cholesterol levels. The yerba mate is a stimulant active ingredient mateini, which is similar to caffeine but without the side effects thereof. The mateini increases metabolism and consequently the fat burning process.

Recommended Dosage: 2 capsules two times a day 45 minutes before meal.
